KETUT BUDIANA

Born 1950 in Padangtegal, Ubud, Bali. As a child he studied sculpture with his grandfather. Studied at the SSRI (Sekolah Seni Rupa Indonesia / Indonesian School of Fine Art) and at the PGSLP (Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Lanjutan Pertama / Teachers' Vocational Secondary School) in Denpasar, Bali. Budiana has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Europe, Asia, Australia and the USA. He has had solo exhibitions in Bali, Indonesia (1976, 1991 & 2000); Seattle, USA (1995); Barcelona, Spain (1998); and Tokyo, Japan (2003).
